Going all out and saying side chaining is fail may be a little harsh. Which engineering course did you graduate? Because even a Youtube education will sort out stuff like this...

sc compression is a handy technique with many applications. I never suggested anything otherwise. You're saying for club music you need to do it. That's nonsense. and then you go on to take shots at my tunes and ask me what engineering course i took???
Here's a generalization that's nearly as sweeping as yours, but for the most part actually true -- real producers don't fucking take engineering courses. they learn from working.

Why don't you stop bickering about techniques and use em to make some tunes... or are you too busy with engineering coursework, fuckin twat.

Wow, bro, too much butthurt, seriously, I thought your track was good, you read a bit fast because i didnt say once it was bad nor take even one shot at it, I actualy listened to it 3 times. Im just saying it has a more accoustic feel to it which means its not as crucial to bass duck in that situation as in a BOOM BAP commercial type track.

I'm not bickering about engineering, the guy asked for tips, so im giving him tips. I don't understand how you could claim that bass ducking is useless for club music, all the top HipHop producers do it, all the tutorials online explain why its awesome and crucial for electronic music, dance music producers have been doing it forever to get that "Pumping" feel into their tracks, its one of the first things you learn about compression when you go to school for that... I don't know what else to say, don't take out your already misplaced anger towards me on side chain compression, it just doesn't deserve the flames..

Honestly man, its not healthy to troll like that, you have alot of repressed resentment. You are unhappy with something in your life and you need to deal with it before it eats you alive.

K, Neither of you read my post completely obviously, so to re-iterate: Hes a bit edgy and thinks im dissing him which i'm not, and you are herp-a-derping whatever the guy that has 1300 posts says.

Reading back on his replies hes not being that outrageous he jsut thinks that I'm generalizing too much on my bass ducking application. Which is true, saying you need to bass duck tracks that are going to play in a club is like saying cars need gas, obviously theres a bit more to it than that.

This guy whos thread we are mutualy stroking our egos on, made a really solid track, and it sounds like he is at the point where the only thing holding him back are these background techniques, so if by reading our posts he maintains that he needs to look into that for himself and tweak it to his taste on this track then everyone wins and no one got MMORPGmad.

That or you can maintain that my post is too generic and type in the book on compression yourself on this thread to illustrate your internet friend's point, which im sure he is capable of doing without you derping him.
