Er, I'm Don Rosco, been DJing / promoting Jungle since 94, resident and promoter of Bassbin nights in Dublin with Rohan since about 2000, dabbled in 2 step and what have you also since about 2000ish. Now playing dubstep or jungle out and about and every wednesday night on powerfm.org alongside my mate Stacks. Currently a bit obsessed with Skull Disco and Magma.

AS MY GIFT TO YOU! Here's a Skull Disco theme I made for newer Nokia Phones: http://www8.ownskin.com/theme_detail?t=S5nGDYLS

I ran out of patience when I was doing the icons, so they're a bit of a mess.

Hey everyone,

I'm moose...a nu skool breaks DJ out here in Cleveland, OH

(I hear some of you snickering...at the Cleveland part....)

anyway, I stumbled upon dubstep 2 weeks ago...and I'm in love...looking to learn much much more about it.

I have listened to Komonazmuk's 'Love' like 20 times already today.

I spent a while looking for a store that would sell me The Bug's 'Jah War (Loefah Remix)' since I'm in the states.

There ya go, I'm a noob.

Mornin/Evenin/Afternoon.... from sunny Wales.

born in south wales, found punk/ska at age 11.... kraftwerk at 12 and alternated between fkn loud guitars, the skank and the bleep bleep ever since....

spent 1990 - 2000 ish in london... where mmmmetalheadz sorted me right out (although I predate that night at the blue note, yep I'm old enough to remember the blue note when it was the bass clef)

got sick of eastend ironic haircuts (the birth of the hoxton mullet was the beginning of the end for me) so came back to Cardiff... where I still am... and emo haircuts are now even more ironic than eastend ones.

used to co-run a monthly electronica night here at Clwb Ifor and help run a little record label ( www.machine-records.com ) which won best label at the welsh music awards 2005/06...

I release most stuff under the name ANATOMIST .... and it's always abeen about the bass with my stuff, plus a dash of dub, funk and wonkiness.... most of my latest tunes are linked in my sig (at theanatomist.com - the 320s are the latest versions the 96k previews are older versions of the same tracks.. oops will change that when I get home) and all releases are available through the usual www.bleep.com www.roughtrade.com etc..

that's it.... errr.... Hi.

cheers,

Ha ha, I've been waiting for this thread to come along, I've been reading this forum for a while now and it feels weird if you don't make yourself known. I'm 21 and I'm a student living in East London. Hoxton mullets are well shit.
