To return to the question of tempo, how sick is skreams 'music to make you stagger'? What other good tunes are there out there with that quick breaksteppy tempo?

Just to reiterate what others have said, surely the beauty of the thing is variety? A couple of dread halfsteppas which are lifted by a good mix into something quicker etc.

most people arent posting anything because they dont feel your beat is worth competing with.
dubmugga thats the only argument you've been holding onto this whole time, that no-one has taken the time of day to find a beat that sounds like your half finished clip
dubmugga wrote:...and for the record the dead truth beat was step programmed one hit at a time and not a recycled break
Same with the clip i posted.
HAHAHAHA YOURE LYING BLUD

what you've done is play a break (ive got that SAME break and you've hardly edited it from the original pattern) and put some bass on it, with a couple of fx.
the extra percussion at the end dont sit with the rest of the tune imo, but regardless- if you think its like nothing we've heard before you need to look about 15 years back mate

wooders and emelkay, i really havent 'won' this thread, no-ones won this this thread, we're all at a loss for having to deal with dubmuggas ego

u racist bastard, u think youre genetically superior?

wow, dont be surprised if your banned by tomorrow

luke sorry but dubmugga's beat doesnt sound like a sampled breakbeat loop - it's rather "wannabe real drums programming" ;)

Dubmugga, your inflated sense of self worth is staggering. You're racial, culturally, and sonically superior to everyone on this board, and yet the only person who thinks so is you.

Has anyone actually agreed with you on anything?

I've tried to stay out of this, cause I hate it when people beat other people down about their tunes, its so rude, but mate you're setting yourself up for a fall with an attitude like that. You talk of 'moving' the sound on - all I heard when I listened to your track was my cells dying.

If not one person has agreed with you about your revolutionary music, perhaps you need to step back and listen to it again - after listening to some proper dubstep, which is something you don't do much of, evidently.

The general rule is that even bad publicity is better than no publicity. I think this thread breaks that rule

one man's hybrid is another man's mongrel. And don't worry you ain't the only mongrels in the world man! It's what makes the world what it is. And what makes a Polynesian mongrel any better than a European mongrel or Australian mongrel or African Mongrel or North/South American mongrel or Asian mongrel. Sorry, 'hybrid'. bit of a moot point really as we've all got genes from all over the place.

Shit this thread is rambling down some weird paths!

you're trying to bait people into arguing with you, and that is the saddest part of this. 99% of this forum is friendly. you choose not to be. in the long run, who do you think will win?

...not even, I'm just expressing my opinion and backing it up. I'm not calling for bannings or insulting people

I want to hear opinions on where to next for the halfstep beat and i want to hear different beats while posting up our take on it in the hope that people will listen and like...

...i am being friendly, you should see me with an attitude :D

but tell me what is it with this, percentage in the long run and winning thing you americans are hung up on ???

...that's what you guys thought about iraq too and how wrong were you there ???
