hey guys im new here so hi :D (i know theres a plaece for this but this question seemed more important)
im completely new to the music (making it anyways listened to the genre for years and am a huge fan of electric based music)
and came to the conclusion that i want to try my hand at it but the problem is i be a noob and want to knnow what i should get to start out and etc im going to be getting a new laptop in a few months for my birthday so i decided im going to use that for all my dubstep neccesities but the real question is how do i really start out? like

what kindve laptop should i get for this?
any advice on headphones or any other equipment i should get a hold of?
idk much but i do know about the styles like with vynils and cdj's and im going to be trying my hand at serato program and its tools but what kindve stuff should i start out with?

as you can tell im a bit of a novice at this but any advice is helpfull :)

Most DJs I've seen use a mac, don't know why though. I suppose anything with good RAM but don't quote me on that

This is pretty much correct. But I'd recommend vinyl. You can't go wrong

I think mac is favoured cause a lot of music programmes tend to run better on them, plus the battery life on mac's in generally pretty damn good which is handy when playing out.

pick mac if you all about music photo and video else i would recommend windows
It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.
