Vocalist Looking To Collab

Post by catmartin » Sun Jun 19, 2011 8:32 pm

I am a trance vocalist who has just started to get into dubstep. I was wondering if anyone would like to work on a track together? I've been releasing tracks for about 3 years now, have a vocal studio at home etc but would really like a change of scene from trance and prog house.

Here's a few of my releases, so you can hear what my voice sounds like and see if it might fit with your tracks! http://www.youtube.com/results?search_q ... artin&aq=f

Ideally I'd like to work with people who have worked with vocals before and maybe had a couple of releases, but that doesn't matter too much if your music inspires me :4:

If you're interested, you can email me: cat@catmartin.co.uk

This is my first post on the forum, so sorry if it's in the wrong place!

Cheers!!

Sounds perfect bro.

Good to know you can record your own vox nicely, makes my job a lot easier. ;)

Let me know if you fancy working together... I have one track in mind that might be of intrest to you:

Soundcloud

I can easily do something similar to this again. :)

You can check out my other stuff on my Soundcloud, just finished doing a D&B track with vocals.

I'd be up for it. doubt you would want to work with me but I will definitely be mature about it and not mistake you for another gender ma'am. You have a good voice as well, had a listen to some of those tracks and also enjoyed those trance songs as well.

op, i honestly think you're professional enough to message labels instead of asking on production forums. after all, this place is where people tend to hang out BEFORE they get signed ;)

Not looking to collab since I haven't even started playing yet, but I just wanted to stop by and say that I've listened to some of your stuff and you have an incredible voice!

Chatting shit. As an experienced producer and label owner I can tell you that the scene and industry just doesn't work like that

some of the biggest producers in the world are on here.. you're saying if you want to be signed your not aloud to get tips from other people and help out?
I'm signed I have forthcoming releases on 4 labels but I'm not anywhere near as good as majority of people on here... seriously that statement is farrrrrr from true lol

I saw jblake (James Blake) on the user online in the production forum a few months ago. It might be that his google alerts were triggered by the thread about, getting that James Blake sound though (i might of triggered them again, whoops... hi James :t: )

Sorry dude... I'm in a really aggy mood, I shouldn't have really spoke  MY advice is to lose that 'bedroom producer' state of mind asap though, or you'll find yourself plateauing. It doesn't matter where you're making music; as long as you're making it, getting it heard and persevering towards a solid goal. Never let current circumstances define your life, think yourself as what you want to be be and you'll attract far greater things to your soul. :W:
