I've worn the same black jeans for like 5 years now, those with interchangeable shirts, normally white tees. When its cold I rock a north face when its not I rock a fred perry. Need to get some new clothes but that's long, I'll spend like 200£ then the week after decide I don't like of it anymore.

UniQlo is smashing it for me, cheap as fuck, well designed, simple without the need for logos all over the shop and the fit is spot on.

Yeah, uniqlo is super handy. They don't arse around trying to make their stuff customized and unique and branded, which actually makes them fairly unique. No crapshite logos or attempts to jump on trends or produce a budget version of someone else's brand.[1]

Also Next for jeans, Fat Face for tops, and places like Reiss, All Saints, White Stuff, Austin Reed, Dogfish etc for picking up nice stuff in the sales.


[1] I had to do a load of menswear shopping at once when I got a new job with a casual dress code, and it's quite interesting to spot which cheap stores are trying to copy which upmarket ones. Mad thing about that (which I found out recently) is that SuperDry are a brand pretending to be Japanese when it's actually a few northerners just biting the ot logos and graphics from Japan.

505's have a straight lower leg, 501's have a tapered bottom opening. 505's are also lower rise i believe. haven't tried on a pair of 501's in years.
