Re: Secret Ninja Fashion Thread
I've worn the same black jeans for like 5 years now, those with interchangeable shirts, normally white tees. When its cold I rock a north face when its not I rock a fred perry. Need to get some new clothes but that's long, I'll spend like 200£ then the week after decide I don't like of it anymore.
Re: Secret Ninja Fashion Thread
Yeah, uniqlo is super handy. They don't arse around trying to make their stuff customized and unique and branded, which actually makes them fairly unique. No crapshite logos or attempts to jump on trends or produce a budget version of someone else's brand.[1]Pedro Sánchez wrote:UniQlo is smashing it for me, cheap as fuck, well designed, simple without the need for logos all over the shop and the fit is spot on.
Also Next for jeans, Fat Face for tops, and places like Reiss, All Saints, White Stuff, Austin Reed, Dogfish etc for picking up nice stuff in the sales.
[1] I had to do a load of menswear shopping at once when I got a new job with a casual dress code, and it's quite interesting to spot which cheap stores are trying to copy which upmarket ones. So Burtons are shamelessly biting SuperDry, Next can't decide whether they want to be Austin Reed or All Saints...

Mad thing about that (which I found out recently) is that SuperDry are a brand pretending to be Japanese when it's actually a few northerners just biting the ot logos and graphics from Japan.slothrop wrote:...So Burtons are shamelessly biting SuperDry

fat face for jeans, armani for boxers and boss polo shits.
I'd rather have a few nice bits than loads of crap which looks like dog shit/falls apart after one wash.

I spend so much money on clothes! King Apparel being the main culprist but also love Diamond Supply Co. Gotta give massive love to the boys at Attention To Detail Apparel, if you went to outlook last year you will remember these guys!

I was gonna start a thread on this but this'll do.
I've had enough of this dubstep-head-skate-hipster shit.
Supreme hats (turn upwards), Obey bags, turn-up 3/4 chinos, plimsoles, zip hoodies with the fucking white ties...tied together around your fucking neck? WHY?!
I know there must be countless offenders on his, sort it out.

Re: Secret Ninja Fashion Thread
the diff between 501's and 505's is just button up or zip isn't it??
Re: Secret Ninja Fashion Thread
505's have a straight lower leg, 501's have a tapered bottom opening. 505's are also lower rise i believe. haven't tried on a pair of 501's in years.

i basically wear one pair of black levis 511s, one of a selection of american apparel tshirts in varying shades of grey and brown, and then ive got a few more interesting apc/folk type bits if i want to make an effort.
Re: Secret Ninja Fashion Thread
oh yeah, i hate those chinos with elasticated ankles i keep seeing at the moment
Re: Secret Ninja Fashion Thread
I'm not questioning their motives (pussy, hipsterdom, belonging, superiority?), call it a pet hate. These apparent forward-thinkers dressing identically, down to the accessories, laughable.noam wrote:i might not like what people wear sometimes but man, im 23, im not gona question WHY people wear stuff just yet... i'll save that till i really dont get what kids are wearing, maybe when im like 50 or sumatwubstep wrote:I was gonna start a thread on this but this'll do.
