I think I found the holy grail of how to do drops

HAS TO DO WITH MUSIC THEORY.



Ok, so I was playing piano and I noticed that if you're playing in a Major key, and you play up the scale and then right when you get back to the root note, you play it's relative minor chord under it, then it's amazing.


I tried it out, and it was pretty awesome. Although the mixing sucks because I did it all on headphones. Not really the point though.

well u have no build up at all. when ur building up try lowering the volume or filtering out your kick drum and whatever else u got going on right at the end of the intro. then when ur drop comes unleash everything at full volume. if you do this you can even make a not so big drop decently big. it will take an even further effort to make it huge but thats a start...

it's called chord progression my friend. once you get the hang of it, it can be your best friend and you will get amazing outcomes :W:
