ctang- Not real familiar with dnb but you did a great job eqing everything it sits nicely together the atmosphere and the keys are fantastic man.

dameonxz- real nice sound design nice and filthy without sounding like a rip off, levels seem on point and the samples were ridiculous but I loved them xD

LukeRaith- mastering is something you to at the very end of production. So you probably mean eqing the bass?? Anyways very nice melodic track all the elements seem to go well together I'd say cut the intro down a bit and finish the track because it has potential :W:

BudSpencertron- fucking love the horn, real nice track but it just seems like a blatant skrilly rip off man. no offense meant.

This is a real rough draft of something i've been working on it needs a lot of work still but any suggestions are always welcome.
I noticed in a few sections I bumped the lfo speed up on accident and it makes it gritty and hard to hear, I'd fix it but have to leave for work twenty minutes ago >.<

@ iorek I like the groove that develops at 1:33, maybe you could build on that short little section a bit, maybe drop out the piano for another sound in sections. You may want to layer a sine wave for a sub underneath your bass sound

@ budspencertron, nice retro vibe you got going on here, maybe high pass some of those vocals to cut out some of that low end, the funny vocals and good melodies blend well together, I wish there was more of a deep sub element in there

@ fluid motion, I love the last bit starting at 2:35, great grooves, bass sounds, vocal stutters, really cool section, I wanted more of this

@ Drum3r

There's a reason one of the threads is called READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's because you. have. to. read. the. RULES. :a:
Now go do your homework

PRR: Loving the drums and rythm. I feel some are too loud and other not enough, but it could be my shitty speakers. The sub is nice and loud, yet it doesn't slap you in the face so much that it ruins the song. I love the subliminal vocals man, good un

Iorek: I love the kinda dark twisted atmos this song has, it's pretty sweet! I think the clap might be too loud, and the wub has a bit too much highs and not enough low mids, but not that much so a bit of eqing might do the trick. But again I love the overall feel this has

ctang: thanks man! And I have to say I love your WIP :D I love the drums, but they might be a teeny bit too loud, well I think it's the other elements that aren't loud enough :D I just think this needs some volume changes but overall it's nice and clean. Props!

And thanks for all the feedback guys :W: (WIP is in sig)

@Stefevr: I am not the biggest fan of wobble, BUT I do like the sub it is destroying mine atm. I do think the snare needs to be a bit more punchy it sounds very empty. The mid bass might be a bit high but that might be my shitty speakers :P

@PPR: I'm a big fan of the tribal feel you got going on, I do find the vocal a bit loud and some of the top end. Besides that I like!

@Drum3r: Not really my kind of thing sounds a bit too all over the place (although most wobble does to me) but if I look past the crazy machinary I do like the drums the snare reminds of Donny and fits in perfect.

This is a WIP from me atm only spent a few hours on it wanted a real mellow feel (Midnight in a perfect world style)

Any feedback appreciated!

@LucasKane - Lovely and chilled mate! Great vibe on this track. You could build this track for a good 5 mins with some subtle wide percussion and harmonising strings! Great base to work on.

@Iorek - I don't think the bass goes too well with the piano sorry. Your bass sound could be used sparingly at the end of a bar and that's about it. I'd make the bass in the track mostly sub.

@BudSpencertron - Made me laugh :D definitely one of the worst songs i've ever heard tho, sorry if you were serious! :)

My WIP, Feedback is so much appreciated! -

Thanks man, first step is a bus load of percussion. I never thought about adding some strings, is a good call!

@ideate I'm usually anti-wobble but I did not mind this one!!, sounds exactly like something my friends would pull nasty faces at and make silly comments over (so dirty it makes me want to etc.) I do love the sub I like it loooooooooooooow.

Everything works together!

@lucaskane - sounds real nice, teh chilled piano vibes are great, could do withsome extra percussion, even just delayed one shots to spice it up a wee bit, but look forward to hearing more on this one.

@Iorek, the ideas are nice, the mid range bass doesnt really fit witht he track, sounds out of tune or sumthin. also everythin needs a bit of eqing so it all sits together nicely, at the moment everything sseems to be fighting for space and nothing is done justice.

@ctang - not bad for a first attempt, im not a fan of the chord progression, if it progressed soemwhere it would work, but just havin that same bit over and over aint enough. Drum patterns good, could be a bit punchioer on kicks and snares though. Melodys nice when it comes in, euphoric stuff. needs more bass unkless its just my shit freq response and im missing the subs, could be phat if it all comes together!

somethin on the 4x4 flex, any feedback appreciated.

@Iorek - Love the melody, the drums are nice, but the bass synth sounds too cheap... or something. Or it's just my taste of music/headphones. Sorry, dude.
@PRR - yeah. I'm in love with percussions, so i really enjoyed the intro. The drums fits really good, the sub bass works, but dno... Make it more DEEP, you know. Sweet track!
@stefevr - woosh... I really dont know what to say... The intro was cool... but these synths..... not really my cup of tea.
@LucasKane - nice atmosphere. These breaks are really cool in the background. Well yeah. Good job, keep it up man!
@ideate - I have to agree with the dude who commented your track on soundcloud. Nice movement. Glitches help. yeye.
@rubiconguava - "Carcass of industry". hmm.. not bad. :D Proper track. Love "the o no no" too. Followed @ soundcloud. Thanks for the DL!

And here's my WIP. A remix of Snowflake - Persephone.
Any feedback would be appreciated!
Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback everyone, when I actually started this track it was just a pure sub I think I switch back to it.

@z6z Listening to the into right now. Sounds pretty chilled but a little empty. Drums just switched up, dont know if i like that pattern, doesnt have the best rhythm but now that the hats have come in sounds alright. Vocals are really nice. Really nice chilled track man just fill it out a bit more imo.

@ideate Vocal sample from a vengeance pack? Really like it how the vocals reappear randomly. The little glitchy sounds you got going in there fit really nice and make it a bit more interesting,. Id really like to hear what this sounds like if you switched up the tempo or the drums in the second verse.

@LucasKane really nice chilled track man. im not sure about the bitcrushed little hat or whatever it is in there. have you tried anything else in it place? i understand it keeps a bit of rhythm but yeh id try something else in there. Snare is nice tho i like the little release on it.

Not really sure about this atm but its what i was just working on so yeah.

Made in Reason alone, master/drums dry.

@stefevr: I like the intro but didn't think what comes in goes with it. Has one vibe and then into another. I think you could do something more with the intro and make a track around that. Save what comes in on the drop for another track and lose some of the kicks imo. I like stuff I can nod my head to but thats just personal preference imo.

@BudSpencertron: stinky, interesting 'roar' sound, sample or synth? sounds neat! drums could do with some work tho imo. try get some riddum going with them.

@z6z: tracpped, nice atmos, I like it, has feeling! the crackle is a bit repetitive and a bit loud in the mix. Where is the bass?

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.
