I refer to the older style as "Classic" as well

article isn't journalism, it's sensationalism.

Classical is a ridiculous term.

So that suggests that kromestar/truth/sparrows etc etc latest albums are classical? Youngsta/distance/ntype etc play classical sets of brand new dubs?

What a load of nosense.

If rationalising that because something doesn't have wobbles/screeching/ yoi sounds it must be classical, then you are talking shit

A couple days ago I played my friend some Jack sparrow and Olie Bassweight.
Then he told me it wasn't dubstep cause it wasn't "hard" enough. :cornlol:

anyways I thought these skrillex/brostep threads were to be confined to the 'official' ones no?

The genre's gone in so many directions... It's just a word, you don't have to use it. Classic dubstep to me is that rough minimal sound like old skream, loefah, coki, etc.

I agree, and Classical is dope... note the capital letter.
