Tune I've been working on, need feedback

Post by bluntiot » Sat Jun 25, 2011 2:44 pm

I made a new drum track and made the patterns switch up a bit more, I'd just like to hear anyones opinion on it.

Im liking the smooth jazz vibes...
sounds a bit minimalist though, unless thats what your going for, maybe add a few synths/soundscapes?

I dig the dub part of this alot, i'm not to sure the into/build fits, but with some careful layering you can make anything 'fit'. but it sounds good keep up the work man. i'd suggest some samples, variation in the wobs, maybe some reverb on that snare, and some nice pads would make this song pop. keep up the work man.
what is this world coming to?

sounds a bit empty at the moment, get some pads/synths/soundscapes in there
snare could do with a bit of reverb, more percussion... bongos and such
bass is a bit loud? am listening on quite bassy headphones tho so maybe not

good start tho

Love the sax man! Bass is good, not overdone (for once, thank Christ). Just give it a little more warmth/texture, take wizeguy's advice...

I think a nice vocal sample would fit brilliant in between the basslines, something really chilled out maybe?
