Sparse & melancholic, then at the drop there's this flood of intelligibility. If All of a Sudden has a sonic trap door, then this tune is like ray of light in a musty attic.

edit. Bleh, I was way off. I heard Lean Forward mixed with Jah Power in the recent DMZ Kiss show and got the drops confused. The point about the "glimpse of aural light" still stands because the actual drop in Jah Power is IMHO one of the most sonorous ones out there.

I've always wondered whether the time it was played on the Mala & Crazy D show it was just a worn out dubplate and isnt meant to sound like that, but it sounds too good to be an accident
