i only have a problem with people who can't help themselves (and sheeple to copying others sounds)
there are plenty of quality newer producers as well, so i have no issue with that, but do go on
(oh and for the record an instrument patch cable will be unbalanced and mono, so you might wanna avoid that and use a normal patch cable)

There was really nothing else i had to say. I can see it being annoying constantly finding retarded questions everywhere you look on you're forum, but see it from my point of view. I know what instrument cables are, i have like 5 unbalanced cables for when i used to play guitar. I just didn't know these were called patch cables. Basically i haven't put much effort into learning everything about music untill i found production, which yeah was recently. But now when i know something i try and help people out and when i don't know something (like now), i ask questions. And i got alotttt of questions

But on topic i was looking at some TRS Balanced Patch Cables, and it dawned on me that i would need to finally get an audio interface if i wanted to use these as an input into my laptop. Or atleast an 1/8 in adapter, but i need an interface for some other things anyways.
