Re: First dubstep track
Thanks dude. I know it probably needs more detail. I love fl studio, but sometimes in my use I find it ridiculously hard to come up with non-repetitive music without having a million patterns that are annoying to manage, so I'm working on learning ableton or perhaps cubase in hopes that I might not have that problem.
I'm thinking of adding to the track and pulling from a song with some good vocals to reverb and put in, and then maybe varying up the sound somehow by changing up the drums, adding in harder more dynamic/grimey mids.

Re: First dubstep track
It's a good attempt no doubt but did you copy and paste the whole track to make it longer? It's a bit repetative (as you've pointed out fella), try adding variation to the second half because the second drop doesn't have a big point of being there.
Take out notes or something, break it down maybe.
Also, invest in Ableton
