Does anyone shop at chemical records? (http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/download) they give the highest percentage of sales to the label that I've found, so the label can pass on that savings to the customer if they want. I know I do for my label. The only bad part, is that they also charge like .5 pounds more for a .wav of flac file...Can't do anything about that though, it's built in to their pricing system.
I usually shop at Digital Tunes for the reason listed above though. .wav handling fee? That's a joke.
No wonder . . .

Nothing is 'cheap' to ship overseas haha. Not even phone callsskimpi wrote:yeah im in england so it aint that bad, but i dunno how they hold up to the others for overseas shipping, i dont really take notice of the shipping price anyway, there might be cheaper, but i just prefer boomkat.Redderious wrote:woah woah woah woah, whoah. Hold up. Does Boomkat ship vinyls??skimpi wrote:always use boomkat, its my go to shop for downloads and vinyl if im gettin it delivered, i hate it whens its a beatport exclusive or summat, i think ive bought 2 singles from there, joy orbs shrew ep, dunno why though maybe it was out before anywhere else, and jan drivers rat alert, cos i couldnt find it on boomkat or juno i dont think, so yeah i try not to use it. i hate the downloading system aswell, im sure i remember it pissing me off.I shop at beatport and the first time i went i was under impression that they did this, but i was wrong and i bought a DJ controller vs the Vinyl turntables. Around here i would have to drive about an hour to go to the nearest record shop that sells electronic music vinyls.
Edit:They do! Might be pricey for oversea shipping though
But good thing is that soon im going to be living near sanfran and finding a good record store would be cake.
