For me personally, I sample my Little Phatty and plop it into Logic's ESX24 so I can distort and bitcrush it. It also gives me waaaaay more control than midi does!
What about everybody else?
Soft Synths! What's everyone using?
Soft Synths! What's everyone using?
Soundcloud Sequencer drenched, hefty 80's synth leads, and two drops in the same tune! What a bargain!
Soundcloud Proggy melody, up-tempo Drumstepish style, over the top drums, and some unintentional bars of 2/4 thrown in for good measure.

If you mean plugins then I am using sylenth1 and massive. I dont really like sylenth that much but massive is sick and it makes very nice synths aswell as basses.

resampling into esx24 would keep you working in midi, untill you bounce it out of there and into an audio track.Nealge wrote:For me personally, I sample my Little Phatty and plop it into Logic's ESX24 so I can distort and bitcrush it. It also gives me waaaaay more control than midi does!

i like albino and omnisphere.
and this thread would be more helpful in the productions section, and you may find that there is already a thread like this so you may want to scroll through a page or two to see (or search but kinda hard to naildown keywords specific enought to get you there).

I assumed there probably was a topic like this already. But I didn't take the time to search. Silly me. By midi, I was referring to transferring CC commands to the hardware synth itself over a midi cable. I guess I am still working in midi anyway. Oops
