The compound itself is harmless, which is why it is difficult to ban I think, its just the method of delivery that can cause a few problems - also a 50/50 N02/ 02 mix is used for medical purposes still.
It's strangely psychologically addictive, as soon as everyone has done a round, and recovered, shouts for reloads immediately after are the general consensus. We went through a bit of a mad one a few years ago with it, a few people had the occasional 'bad balloon' where you trip a bit too hard/ don't snap out of it immediately. I personally pretty much stopped completely after doing a 'double' balloon whilst sitting on a on a swivel chair, and subsequently woke up at some point after, looking at blood on the carpet in front of me and with a cut lip.
At one point we tracked down an Ebay seller in central london, when it was late and needed some for a party, and used him several times after that, essentially giving us a N02 dealer in Tulse Hill estate, brixton

HIPPY CRACKKKKK!!!
i used to sell em at parties/festivals etc. there's nothing quite like that noise around ravenous mash heads... the look in their eyes is intense as the whole room turns and stares at you, the brief pause... then the rush as everyone tries to walk towards you whilst getting money out their pockets
love the shit, but i only do a few now, they intensify the hangover the next day several times

The most awkward day of my life is officially over - had to quit my job after 3 days cos i got offered a WAY better one. Now I can just sit back and drink crabbies, while being paid to not work for the rest of the week

Found the keystick that I was convinced I'd lost somehow, and in looking for it have given my room it's first decent tidy in a couple of weeks.

Watched Transformers 3. Enjoyed it. Robots fighting, amazing sound design and a fit girl. Good enough for me
Peng curry
and it's only two days till I get to DJ at my mate's party. Which is actually a party I'm really looking forward to. I've been good mate's with him and his older sister a long time. His sister is my age and is bringing friends down from uni in London for it. He's only just turned 18 and so is inviting loads of 18 and 19 year olds along.
Think you can see where my mind is wandering either way....

You're thinking you're going to have to play Brostep as young people don't understand real Dubstep these days?
