Avoiding queuing at FWD, Plastic People

Post by Hulo » Thu Jun 30, 2011 9:27 am

So Plastic People is small...and FWD is big.

What time would you recommend getting there to avoid queuing/not even getting in?

Thnx!

easy - looking at the line-up, I don't think you will have any problems at any point. But its only a short night anyway, might as well get there at 9.30 and catch all the dj's imo...
or if not, theres a bar at the top of the road called Trafik that is pretty good, you can monitor the queue from looking out the door...
have a good night!!

I know one of the bouncers and they now count how many time you go out for a smoke, if you go out more than 5 times you get kicked out.

The crowd gets big about 12..

Yeah you use to be able to go out and get some munch quickly but they've really cracked down, now you have to que to get outside...

Once your outside they frequently check the 12ft smoking area and tell you to hurry up and finish your cigarette... If your sneaky you can still do it!

Some of the staff are well decent though, always got love for fwd!

Get down for 10 or later if you want a good few hours of solid bass weight. Ends at 2am to clarify.

Really? You saw them pour water into your whisky?

I'm just basing my opinion on how excessively friendly they are in there and that they give out free shots!

It never opens on time either so if you get there early your looking at a long wait! With one in at a time it takes ages even when its empty... I'd just go and drink 'round the corner and check on the queue from the comfort of a pub or a park bench with a £1 can of cidery goodness! :h:
