Well it's all within reason, if someone was asian and claiming benefits I'd shop them. Wouldn't you?

I will tell you a story - I have hundreds of these...and all of it drives me crazy

When I was working at Amazon.com...

there was this morbidly obese woman who worked there...and mind you I am decently overweight myself..
but to shed light on another kind of the issue...

This woman was confined to the "gift wrapping" station...which is just what it seems
..they wrap gifts like at christmas..and that's it
The few people who work in this department are put there for a reason
In their own section far off from - the amounts of work being done

Well she went out of her way to report me - for lifting wooden pallets
and placing them exactly - where and how they were supposed to be placed

I was reported and reprimanded for doing my job properly.

because I was "possibly" putting my "health" at risk

Not only was I doing my - more difficult job to company standard - but I was being smeared for it - by a gift wrapper
because - I am obviously - too shitty stupid to decide for myself - what I can and can't lift.

Now I ask you - How many ways can a person say FUCK THIS!!!!

and then....she had the nerve to sponsor this..company pot luck dinner...for lunch break one day..
and she was "IN CHARGE" of organizing it whatever - and she kept pestering me to declare on a list
what I intended to bring...so finally I made a decision
and spent close to $100 making a chicken salad/orzo thing..

she - I swear to god - made a pot of dried noodle soup...like a bean and pasta soup.
You know - they come in cellophane - christmas gift from neighbor type thing...

I left the room completely and refused to eat with anyone - made a plate and sat in my car alone.

What I don't get is how, on very little evidence and without knowing her from adam, you've come to the conclusion that she is fraudulently claiming benefits. For all you know she could work from home, have a large inheritance, have MS etc. I mean think about it? Why would someone need their house cleaned all day every day? It's obviously a support worker or a carer getting her up in the mornings so her daughter does not need to provide the care that other children do and go to school.

Where's the fraud being committed? Where's the evidence of a second income or a job, you said yourself she's in the house all day. Surely if she could afford this Land Rover she'd be out earning all day? Even if you work from home you have to meet people and be seen to be doing business. She's not going to remain housebound for over twenty years so she can scab an extra £100 off the DSS.

It's a bit like reporting some guy with a dark complexion for hanging around a train station with a rucksack for being a terrorist.

*shrug*

And this is why I haven't reported her.... I wanted to see what people think of it. I don't know that she is a fraud. Just a sneaking suspision as I said. At the moment a lot of it is based on presumption, she could be doing anything all day for all I know. The 'word on the street' is that she is a benefit fraud though, she's told people apparently.

If you'd have lived next door to this woman I can assure you you wouldn't like her much either

Same place Amazon.com...I worked there 5 years...

Was working in the sortation section
which is where you take the books from a small rolling pick cart...scan barcode into computer
then place on corresponding shelf on a larger rolling cart - like a book shelf
bookshelf cart then rolls to que for the stacking stations - who prepare them for shipping...

Well apparently I made very easy and clean carts to be stacked -
And my carts were sought after by stackers because I raised their quota numbers...
but I didn't know this at the time...

This black chick came to me one day - and said that I didn't have to roll my carts to the que..
but that I could just park them to her station...I was just like Ok then..started doing that..

I had an entire stacking line hating me - because they thought I was in cahoots with this girl..
when really I had been manipulated.

All of this came to light AFTER I was reported to the management and pulled into office for reprimanding.

The situation was somewhat remedied - as I explained that I had just done what was asked of me..
So I stopped and went back to placing in the que...

Then - the girl who manipulated me got angry and started harassing
She went Buck Fucking Mental on me one day and started verbally accosting me on the floor -
accusing me of stealing her carts..luckily - my manager who initially pulled me in..was obviously aware of the situation..
and had to act as shield for me from that point on...

So now I need FUCKING SHIELD to do my work properly without being manipulated..

Basically tax is theft because its non voluntary, some of us happen to think that high taxes are fucking this country in the bum. I would reread what you wrote about the 3 year old kids as it doesn't actually make sense. I'm guessing you are pro large companies getting away with tax evasion even though that totally contradicts your entire stance on reporting the benefits fraudster. It is an interesting point in regards to lower taxes and there are economies in the world where tax rates are almost non existent. This can work as consumers have much higher amounts of disposable income which is then pumped back in but with the increasing ease of access to international marketplaces through the internet this type of fiscal policy is very risky as you can no longer guarantee the funds are spent within your own economy. But I'm sure you knew that with your 'korma' mild understanding of economics.

I work a proper job, pay taxes, pay bills etc.

I don't want some absolute scrote stealing benefits because they can't be arsed to do what most other 'honest' humans do.

Grass her up... or build it all up inside and say nothing, i'd probably do the latter ha.
