New studio help

Post by darkartois » Sat Jul 02, 2011 6:03 pm

In preparation for our first baby the in laws bought us a house which has just two bedrooms, which means me and all my gear needs a new home. I've been looking at loft conversions, a sectional garage, and a summerhouse. The summerhouse option is my favourite tbh, and they are well priced. My only worry is soundproofing. It would be made of wood so I'm not sure how well that insulates sound. I don't want to piss my new neighbours of and advertise the fact I can be easily robbed of my prize possessions. What would be best to do and in the cheapest way possible? Plastering the inner walls could be an option too.

Younger brother. He does have long hair though, maybe a bit of makeup, bottle of jack, and an open mind?

Maybe I'll get some dogs, or bees, or dogs with bees in their mouth and when they bark they shoot bees at you.
