a new jazz show for those interested
Shades Of Blue - Jazz Show
on Radio Reverb 97.2FM & http://www.radioreverb.com is hosted by myself, Lefty Ricciardi ( a.k.a lefty the grumpy one ) Every Thursday @ 9pm..
( shows are archived on mixcloud the following day... )
Expect to hear various styles of original jazz on vinyl from the 50's / 60's & 70's...
At the end of each show there will be a small section called 'influenced' where I'll be playing music from the last 25 years thats sampled or been influenced by Jazz, mainly early Hip Hop, Jungle or Drum & Bass.
show [006] from last night is now online to listen again - bossa nova & latin jazz special ( due to the poor weather i thought id bring some heat to try & brighten things up a bit... )
SICK !!!!!!! Will try to keep locked, finally a good jazz show on the web Have you had one or are you planning to have one on really early jazz like Glenn Miller ? Would be lovely. Mad props anyway

Really enjoyed these, nice one. Keep it up. Nice to learn who some of these artists are too. God that baby voice 'shades of blue' thing is creepy/annoying though.
