i swear if it's origin exclusive they'll be fucking up even more
Those 2 two things are the opposite of what pc gamers want :u:
such is what happens when you sign up with EA
they have a nice track record of fucking up the companies they buy, rushing developers and forcing development changes/dumbing down

You can't really be surprised that there's no mod tools for BF any more, not now they know people are willing to pay £10 for DLC that used to be free.

It's counter-productive to disable modding. A good mod community ensures your game will live many years. These days there's so many mediocre games coming out every other week gaming has become a disposable hobby.

Thank you Activision, is more like it. It's no secret that BF3 is going head to head against MW3. The maps packs for MW1 were free on PC, paid on consoles. Then Activision tried bringing console prices to PC and people still ate it up.

The PC community didn't need any helping from consoles fucking itself over.

That was great!

I had a goatse spray in cs too haha.

And there was an exploit in BF2 where the commander could drop a thousand dune buggies in the server, they'd land on everyone and eventually crash the server.

Good times.

This is entirely dependent on mod capabilities though. If devs start shipping identical PC/PS3/360 releases in terms of everything except graphics; PC gaming will lose its advantage very very quickly.

Looking forward to BF3 anyway. I'll definitely be getting it on PS3 now considering there's no mod tools.

why? it's even been shown it runs at lower fps and dumbed down graphics. the game was designed for pcs first for a welcoming change
