What is it about Digiboxes/ Freeview. I have had 4 in the last 2/3 years, the first three of which broke within a few weeks. Not only is the technology of the units very flawed BUT THE RECEPTION OF THEM IS SHIT TOO!

At any given time at least 5 of the channels will be a blank due to bad reception. Then there are the countless times that the big profile channels like BBC & Channel 4 ones are virtually unwatchable. With real TV if you had bad reception it meant b&w, ghosting, static noises. With digital there is rarely any middle ground, it's just full on fucked.

This stuff is fucking ridiculous given that BBC consider digital tv to be working enough for them to warrant killing terrestrial off. Why should I have to put up with broken channels simply because there is a 5 mph wind outside, or there's a bit of rain?

And then you have DAB radio, which actually does work 95% perfectly. Why such a difference

Tell me about it, the amount of times nothing shows up is crazy.

You never get all the channels they advertise anyway, annoying.

Also hate the fact that uktv gold and Nat Geo are top up channels, bastards.

Get a signal booster, sorts it out. They are about £20 in Curry's.
