ibeats

Post by kosovo » Wed Jul 06, 2011 11:47 pm

What do you guys think of them? They are inner ear earphones by dr dre and was wondering if they would be good for dubstep. Have you had them before? Were they durable? How was the sound quality?
Thanks

I've never used them before, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that their response isn't flat. I've listened to some other beats headphones before, and they highly exaggerated the low end, so I'd assume those probably do the same.

Are we talking about listening to dubstep on the way to school/work? If so, meh why not.

Are we talking about producing with them? I don't think earbuds are what you're looking for.

i have em, and since my monitors broke like two months ago ive been using them to produce along with casual listening. theyre really good. better that the Beats Tour. they dont have as much of an exaggerated low end and i find they do deliver a well balanced sound. they arent too high on the price scale either. ive had mine since november last year and havent had any problems. however dont use the airlock eartips they give you. they distort the sound. just use the regular ones.

Hope this helped! :W:

No. Just. No.

1. Earbuds (in-ear head phones) have no low end response. The physical size of the speaker diaphragm is the cause of this.
2. Not flat-rate at all
3. Way overpriced, you're paying for Dr. Dre to slap his name on ipod earbuds

I recommend a good pair of akgs or grados instead :W:

What in ear headphones do you recommend for listening then?
Not producing. I will probably be buying from the apple store http://store.apple.com/au or here http://www.jbhifi.com.au/
Which in ear headphones do you recommend from these 2 stores? I want $100 australian dollars or under but I guess I can go up to 150.
Thanks
