im really sorry metabolic and i know it sounds harsh but this is absolutely appauling. posting it on DSF was literally the worst thing you could do if it was a peer review you're looking for. i suggest you just get better at the guitar and join a heavy metal band, there really is no future in this kind of thing

oh my god are you actually serious, metal died in 2004? you clearly have no idea, that's around when it started to recover from the plague aka nu metal.

if you actually read this forum at all you would realise that no-one on here thinks like that, thus the ridicule of your track.

also im not saying that you have no future in music, im saying that this sort of music has no future, it's unoriginal, repetitive and just generally unpleasant.

finally congrats for getting an EP on beatport, that's a really great achievement but looking at the top 10 it's hardly suprising

EDIT: first time I've looked on beatport in about a year and im just shocked at the absolute bollocks that people are buying these days...

yea metal died with dimebag, for me anyway, the only thing decent around was Down......

so your opinion is end all then? is there no such thing as taste? ....how can you condemn a genre of music?

fyi down are still around mate, saw em last year, were really good.

obviously im not that arrogant to think that my opinion is the definitive answer to everything, that's all it is, my opinion. all im saying is that this kind of music has very fickle fans who basically just want the 'filthiest, earth shattering, pants-shitting' noise they can get, there will get to a point where it just cannot get any more ridiculous and then they will stop caring and move on to something else, it's just another fad (like emo or whatever before it). the majority of interest exists on youtube and from the comments under videos a hell of a lot of fans are simply interested in finding a way of ripping the video for free or downloading it illegally somehow, they dont care about the music and so that is exactly why it will die.
