MIDI

Post by kosovo » Mon Jul 11, 2011 12:09 pm

I am starting to learn how to produce dubstep with fruity loops producer edition 10. I was wondering what a midi controller is used for and if I was to buy one which is a good quality controller for a reasonably cheap price. (under $200 australian)
Thanks

It is used to play your melodies, synths, drums etc. via midi, using keys.
Good for testing chords and chord structures.

It`s not essential though as you can program all the above mentioned lines with the included piano roll in FL.
It is just a handy tool for experimentation, playing live, etc.
