intro ounds nice, lets see what happens. Some tappy reverb synths and a kick. Its building to something.
Not conventional dubstep but its nice musically nonetheless. Its like medival dubstep. Some variations would be a plus other then that keep it. One under the belt.
...wanna collab? Im down for new sounds, send me a PM please.

haha medieval haha yeah, i can see what you are saying. I plan on doing a little bit of editing to the main part to keep it fresh and evolving/changing. This is just the foundation. I'm trying to go for the Feed Me/Flux P sound

Kick's a little bit flat under that huge synth. A quick ducking sidechained compressor would make it pop. The drum sounds are very good, just a little overwhelmed.

But the track is lovely. Man, I'm keeping an ear out for you. You have a good ear for it.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. By flat do you mean like actually FLAT like it should be raised in pitch? Or you just dont like the sample? Also, I have it sidechained slightly to the subbass, I might want to compress it a little more so the kick will shine through better. Thanks.

Flat as in it doesn't cut through.

I generally have a top kick with a trebly snap and a low end kick sample layered. But yeah, I use sidechaining quite heavily. Quite a fast release and very fast attack to just punch it through.

It does come down to preference in the end.

Yeah I know what you are saying. Sometimes I just get lazy and I don't layer kicks haha...But you are right, having them in 2 separate tracks for highs and lows of the kick will give me more options while mixing. I'll experiment with that. Thanks.

This is fresh. Boost the highs on things like the hihats, percussion sounds dull over all. Especially get some more treble in the snare sound, layer a bright clap with it maybe? Play with velocities on the piano roll for the main organ-like saw synth to seat it in the rhythm and add personality. I think we're going for a similar kind of dubstep. I'd be interested in hearing what you have to say about some of my tracks, some of which are in the "EPIC TURTLE MUSIC" thread in this section.

change up that main synth to something grittier or run it thru a bitchrusher and some distortion, other than that it sounds legit. drum pattern is dope, melody is right, nice work.

Still the same opinion. Good tune its just not heavy. Thats all. The snare has too much white noise top end on it. and the hats I cant hear. The snare is clearlly the loudest.
