All,
Don't shoot me down for this, because I'm genuinely interested.
You know gay people that have the effeminate voices? Is that genuine? Is there an actual reason for that, or is it just a choice? Did they always speak like that? I can only base my knowledge on this one kid at school, who spoke pretty normally for the first 3/4 years, then his voice got camper and camper as his raging homosexuality became more obvious.
What a gwarn?

I'm wearing a purple shirt right now, successful effeminate man.

Just because you are a character, does not mean you have character.

Re: heteros being defensive about their metrosexual clothing
I went out in a small pink girls cancer charity race for life shirt yesterday for some weird joke amongst friends (they all did the same)
and ironically it made me look hench as fuck as it was so insanely tight around any muscle I got

My brother had to undergo speech therapy for years and years, he sometimes has a lisp that sounds "gay" as people would put it. He is, as a matter of fact, gay, but I know plenty of people that are straight and have similar sounding voices, but I'd bet money that they are straight. I also know gay people that are more manly in appearance and voice than a LOT of straight people I know.
On the topic of heteros being defensive about metro clothing:
Time to change your style if you have to get all defensive about yourself, and maybe question your orientation...
But seriously now.
