Major labels (Warner, Sony, Universal, Colombia) aren't really releasing dubstep because it's (probably) not gonna get high in the charts. Dubstep is more of an underground scene, ran by independent labels such as Hyperdub, Tempa, Deep Medi and Tectonic. When I say independent I don't mean you should start your own label, I mean you shouldn't try contacting the major's because it's probably not gonna work. You can try contacting the independent labels that are big in the dubstep scene tho'. I wouldn't start with sending tracks to the big independent labels (like Hyperdub), unless you're really good. I don't know if your tunes are good because I haven't heard them yet, but I'd just start off by e-mailing a lot of independent labels (and giving out CD's to DJ's at the dubstep parties you go to). I think that there's a list of labels somewhere on this forum.

I hope this is helpfull to you

Going by your track in your signature, i think you need to work on your production skills for a while, then come back and talk to us.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

I wasn't comparing the style I was comparing the production value of both tracks. I kind of suspect that you're trolling now.

I was trolling a little bit with that vid tho  the moral of the story is, it takes money to make money "example: all the big famous dubstep boys probably bought them self fame or someone close bought it 4 them"

thats y we're not signed, coz we're broke... :i:

Yeah, I bet if you ask Blackdown, Mala, Skream, Kode9, etc. they'll tell you they were rolling in it in 2003.
