it just kinda happened

I was obsessed with conspiracy related technology back then so hence the name RFID but I was really putting in work under my old name unklefestaZoid so I shortened that to festazoid and that became FSTZ
if i hadda guess, i'd have pronounced ur current alias as "festaz"... close enough. The vowel-less thing leaves some room for interpretation sometimes.... like DFRNT.... de-front, different, defer not.... yeah, probz "different" but yakno :6:
yeah and to confuse the masses even more it's said as if it were an acronym

ohmicide beats trash (purely my opinion, my ears do not agree with anything izotope for some reason)

pm for some info on a glitch plug that beats effectrix.

Oh, and get an audio interface first.

synth - NI Massive
sampler - Simpler comes with Ableton - works for me
reverb - Ableton reverb too - need to fix that haha
delay - Ableton's Ping Pong or Filter Delay - also something I perhaps need to address
distortion - don't use any
other cool things? - I like Glitch for some stuff, and Camelspace is pretty nifty too.

i don't actually think the ableton reverb is bad, but i do use the sonnox oxford one. the ableton simple delay is good too, get used plenty in my projects.

Synths: virus ti, operator, ni massive, z3ta.
Sampler: usually work with samples by hand - chop them up, put through paul stretch, bounce, rearrange, etc... Got simpler in ableton and camel alchemy if I want to take this more in depth.
Reverb: psp spring verb, waves rverb.
Delay: native ableton plugs, simple and pingpong always sound better to me than even pay ware delays I've tried.
Distortion: tal tube, camelphat, ableton's saturator, ohmicide, also I use high resonance and drive with sugar bytes wow for distortion also... It's good to have lots of them - since they all introduce different harmonics.
Others: Paul stretch, patcher, tal chorus, ableton phaser.
