Can Chimpo "cross over"?
Can Chimpo "cross over"?
Can Manchester's Chimpo coss over with "Holding on" with Broken £nglish's DRS? Should he even try? It's a bit Magnetic Man, but love the video: and, somehow, it's well catchy. Waddyareckon? Popstep from the don of northern skanking?

No way! Just interested to see what people think. Seems to me that there are loads of Manchester dubstep/garage/grime acts that now have a bit of a chance for "daytime listeners" because of Unity Radio. The question is whether they should go for it crossover-wise or not. The king of the ghetto is still a king and all that.

Too much, but with a lack of vocal quality. Out to Chimpo still.dertyderty wrote:Do agree its a bit Magnetic Man.

Dont like the video
Dont like the vocalist
Dont like the instrumental
Dont like anything about it
Its just a 'sell-out' tune that is crap
Sounds like a pirate copy of man on a mission

Now that is a nice skanking track. Still think "Holding On" has the edge for daytime radio (albeit on niche stations) potential.
