@bRRRz The basslines are pretty cool, but it sounds really empty on the bottom end. Get Fat!!
Add some variety to the drum sequencing, the beat is nice but it gets bland after a while with no variation.

@bRRRz thanks man, liked yours too but have to agree that a little bit more low end would definitly make it heavier ,but love the voweleffekts in this one.

@kungpowmace - not really diggin the opening synth, but if u were to keep it heavy from the start it would be sick.
@bRRRz FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...... that was fucking filthy , holy shit man, im totallly in love with the vocal samples, what did you sample if you dont mind me asking ? ... wouldnt change a thing i love it that sounds like something that would be on x-sessions .
@budspencerton dope track, the chill beats are always the best imo.

bRRRz - badboy-style-short-wip-for - I like it but i would cut the reverb on the synths as well as make a dip in the mid range.
Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
weedcali, i not sure these kids know what that truely means. everytime i get on this thread, people are always saying a bunch of nothing an expecting everyone to click their waveforms. i honestly feel like people really need to listen to the other dubbers on here in a more outlined detailed fashion. saying things like, this tune is fat, i like the snare would honestly piss me off.weedcali wrote:Please give constructive feedback.kungpowmace wrote:@budspencerton Nice track, i like the chill feel to it.

what is this world coming to?
Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
I never really think my drums sound any good, is my percussion overcomplicated? Kicks got too much high end? Just want some feedback and criticism.
Link to a drum beat I made, this is the sorta thing Id usually do - http://www.mediafire.com/?gawfs2uzb519ie0

@Specimen-Yarp: Awesome sounds over all. I really dig the wobble. Only thing I would say is maybe do something to make the drops a little more dramatic. The buildups are really good, but you could maybe do some high pass filter modulation or something in the bar before the actual drop. Maybe even just have a bar or a couple beats of silence. Other than that though, not much I can criticize. Oh, and the electro(ish) section is killer in the second half. I love it.
@Kungpowmace: You have some pretty good sounds too. Compositionwise, your song is pretty cool. It could definitely use some work in the mixing department though. I think it is stereo spread too much. It seems to be all mids too. All your synths could use some more upper-mids and highs to crisp them up. Lastly, it really needs a plain sine wave sub bass to fill out the low end. Good start though, especially with all the different sounds you have going on!
@bRRRz: Nice one dude! Its already been said, but your bass line could use some more bottom end. I think your drums could be beefed up a bit. To my ears your kick is a bit too short. I also like giving my kicks a little boost at 100 hertz. I'm not the biggest fan of the hi hats your using, but that might just be me lol. I dig the bass lines and the vocal samples though.
Here's mine. I actually haven't made any dubstep tunes for a while. Comments on the mix and stuff? I'm still mastering and trying to make this one sound as fat as possible.

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@BudSpencertron - Thanks about the sub. They're just two simple sine waves. One real sub one the lower octave then one a bit higher which seems to make all the difference on sound systems without any kind of subwoofer.
@norcodubstep - SOUNDING FAT!!! The skanks are mixed in well with large basses which I always seem to find hard to eq. Where did you get your snare from? Those little tom drum fills are nice too. I think the hats get a bit lost sometimes? Maybe eq them high around the 10hz area? I don't have my nice monitors currently though so I've gotta deal with some bass heavy ones (nice, but not for production!) Song structure is nice too, it all flows. Don't take anything I say as fact though I'm not all that experienced with production and you sound more advanced than me to be honest!
@Specimen-Yarp - Those arpeggios are nice but they need much more life, get automating? Maybe play with some auto filters or something and some stereo chorus? That hat loop gets really repetitive too. I'm liking the little effects they make it sound really sophisticated and add keep it interesting but maybe use them a bit more subtly or fewer of them? I'm not sure if it's what you're going for but the basses could be layered (with octaves and subtly different sounds).
@bRRRz - Really loving the pitch bending in this. Those high pitch 'squeal' sounds could do with a bit more something though?
I already posted this but got very little feedback back. Nothing changed in this upload but I've been working so ideas would be appreciated.

@unitedfruits haha thats a cool idea , but was talking about the deep feeling part jeah maybe just layer a 909 snare or how its called underneath and a clap on top think will solve the snare problem; but that suuuuuuub haha

@bRRRz - Really dig your track.. different intro which is better in my eyes.. i have a feeling you may have been influenced by ruffneck bass on the build up
.. Anywho.. as much as i liked the intro it was a bit repeitive and long for my taste. Good work keep me posted on it the bass is nice
@specimen.. shits down right raw.. loved this and the crunch up top on your bass.. top notch.. id like to hear this finished mixed to perfection
@united - love those vocal samples.. i love the work done on the atmosphere.. great fx work.. this really is a great track man and all i really would like to hear the bass stiick out a little more over the scat guitar rythm you got going on there.. relaly enjoyed this
id really appreciate any insight on my work in progress

bRRRz - Fuckin' dope dude.. That my kind of music
some good drumstep. I hope to be at your level some day soon. Only think I would say it maybe make the snare hit a slight bit harder.
Andrix - Very nice into, now lets hear the drop!
Specimen-Yarp - fucking filthy bass there. I think the drop could use a little work though. you know when the kicks start to build, you should take a few out right before the drop so there is like a moment of silence, then you could fill it with a vocal sample or something. or just keep it silent, the drop will feel heavier that way.
Anyways guys, here is what I'm working on.. Tell me what you think, I like it but I'm thinking maybe it's to mono toned?

bRRRz- im feelin this a lot nice work
now for a bit of feedback, i would say to work on the mix of all the synths...at least one seems like it needs a lil more reverb or somethin, just in comparison to the other ones..feel me?
NoCoDubstep- verrrry well done, the only thing i can say to make this better is the intro/build up...the intro is a lil too steady and the only real build up is the kick drum speeding up but if you start a slower build up sooner i think the drop will be more poweful
raincoatdisaster- you intro seems to have an extra bar which kinda throws off the flow...i like the silence before the drop but i would cut the last bar before the silence
