Just so you know, in the feedback thread we always give feedback to at least three people before posting your own track.. Just so the feedback keeps coming!
I will write a bit about your track once feedback has been given

I'm digging the hat syncopation of the hats, and the stabs. My personal suggestion is build up to the drop a bit more, or turn the basslines down a bit. They don't quite fit the rest of the mix, as soon as they come in, the drums pretty much vanish in the mix. Something I do to avoid this base my mixdowns on my drums, keep my kick the loudest thing in the mix, around -6db to be exact, and basslines around -10db maybe -8db, if it sounds quiet then, it can always be fixed at the end with some self-mastering.Kes-Es wrote: Soundcloud

didnt know how id feel about this song when it first started, interesting intro, i like the blippy glitch sounds, one thing id change is the hats almost seem a tad loud. wasnt expecting that kinda drop at all, i was thinkin it would go into more chill but it really just assaults the ears with grime, sick sick bass, are you using massive/razor at all?Kes-Es wrote: Here's my latest WIP/Demo thing, sortof iffy on it, looking for general critique, mix, sound design, whatever. Enjoy and be harsh:

Thanks man, I really wanted the sub to get moving with this one appreciate the feedback!BudSpencertron wrote:@lucaskane thats some really nice sub love how it wobbles, nice mixdown to hm really hard to find something maybe just try to make the midrangebass little bit louder or cripsier with some tube or something but that would be just on top; very good
I'm a complete whore for reversing samples and percussionweedhelmet wrote:LucasKane - Good use of reverse samples and delay!! I love the track I just personally think it's slightly minimalistic but maybe that's what you're going for. I wonder what it would sound like with another sound harmonizing with the bass.
big tune mate, horns are sick... only thing i reckon is fatten up that snare, layer it with one with more low end biteStandby wrote:@urbannerd62 loving your tune "simplicity", intro is deep but there's something about the drop that seems a bit week in comparison to the sound of the intro. nice though. "Shes on fire" is the one though!
@slyman really like the idea behind "black hole vacuum", just not enough of the drums. i reckon it would sound pretty sweet with them pushed up in the mix.
@eldoogle re: love me police rmx.... intro sounds like the tunes gunna be quite lively, but gutted by the drop. it loses too much energy. maybe try a different kit aswell. nice idea though

There's is no reverb on the snare and that piano effect was intentional but if it's too much, I'll tone it down.zerbaman wrote:Soundcloud

I think this kind of tune would be better off straightened out rather than wonky, it sounds more synthetic than most wonky hip hop, s personally id go the quantized way. Maybe a little less reverb on the snare to, give it more body and blam
