DJ's from other genres doin Dubstep

Post by randomhed » Fri May 18, 2007 7:13 pm

One of my fave dj's is Randall, especially his sets from around the 93 era. Some of the tunes back then are kind of similar to some dubstep now imo. I dont know of other genre dj's doin dubstep sets but thats one id love to hear.

Any suggestions of who's take would be interesting to listen to. -q-

Honestly, Id really like to hear what some crazy hip hop turntablists could do with it...

One I can think of off the top of my head that could be sick would be Craze. One of the last times I heard him play in LA he dropped a 20 or so min Miami Bass set before droping it into DnB for the night and that shit went off!

Lets start a petition and send it to JuJu to see if we can get his old Cartel partner in crime to take a stab at it...

If Memory serves correct I believe Dj Craze's World Dmc set (2000) had some interesting Dubstep beat that scratched over using his shoulders !?!, lots of the beats he makes to scratch over verge on the Dub Step side of things. +
That Dude from Smith and Mighty has that tune on punch drunk.
