I thought she said flicky, flicky as well, but I watched the entire video on you tube and looked at the lyrics, but then again i just thought the rolling eyes "emoticon" had dissapeared. It was in my blind spot okay!!!

When you say almost as common they're not really at all are they. I bet if you look in the top 40 there's no waltzes. And a lot of jazz would be swung triplets in 4/4 so not quite the same (could be 12/8 I suppose).

Not morning tho is it soldier? yeah I get my info off my brother (sound engineer), so although its second hand and is quite smoky, it's usually got some sort of basis in truth.

Pretty much every album I own that's not dance music has at least two or three tracks that aren't 4/4.

Obviously 4/4 is the most common, but that was true hundreds of years ago as well, nothing new about it.
