I'm travelling alone from Canada. Decided to volunteer at the fest 'cause I figured it'd be the easiest way to meet some people. Getting in for free is nice, too.alkemisten2 wrote:Anyone else outside UK going alone there?

Can anyone tell me what kind of currency I should bring? I know I'd need Croatian currency if I'm venturing into the city, but should I have pounds for on-site, or do the vendors at the festival run off kunas as well?
Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind, looks like that was answered earlier.

I think we're supposed to get everything sometime in August? Not sure but the woman said she was still working on it.rliquid wrote:Anyone else getting a little worried with the outlook accom woman? Easiest is just to draw cash on your bank card when you get there. Either from the cash machine on site, or one in Pula town.acronym wrote:alkemisten2 wrote: Can anyone tell me what kind of currency I should bring? That charges extra interest on your card for being abroad, surely? I'd say £300+ will be sufficient. Went last year and drove to Pula from the UK and it was plentiful.chico_red wrote:acronym wrote: Easiest is just to draw cash on your bank card when you get there. In pounds, not in kunas?AJP UK wrote:That charges extra interest on your card for being abroad, surely? I'd say £300+ will be sufficient.
