Hey Everyone,
I don't know if any of you remember me, but I used to frequent this forum about 3 times a day for a couple months when I was starting to learn how to produce. The more I would post, the more I realized that absolutely no one would ever reply to my posts... I got sick of asking for help when I knew I would get none and decided to take a long break from the forum while working on my music. Since I was last on I have grown alot and gotten much more skilled, which I guess you can attest to figuring things out on my own, but I decided that since DSF was such a big help to me in the beginning, I was going to make an effort to help as many struggling new producers as I could... I know that when I was starting it meant the world to me, and I hope I can reciprocate those feelings for others.
Anyways, I've already started my crusade on the forum, but if anyone was interested in listening to my most recent work and/or giving ME some feedback, here is my debut single:
Soundcloud
And a teaser of my WIP House track for my upcoming EP:
Soundcloud
I didn't mean to offend any of you by this post... if anything, this is a plea for everyone to start giving a fuck again and helping those who need it, no matter how annoying/boring/tedious it can get. Thanks
Sam

It's not my style of dubstep, nor my kind of vocal, but it's pretty well produced.
I can offer a couple of suggestions:
Like one of the comments on soundcloud says, add a bit of modulation in the heavy bits. Those sustained notes aren't particularly interesting, especially in comparison the really detailed vocal edits that lead up to them.
The vocal loop in the outro is a bit of a pain, I reckon you should fade it out instead of having it at the same volume constantly (forgive me for nitpicking about the outro
)

Thanks for the response. I can't agree with you more on everything you said, but for this song I over-emphasized the simplicity of it, because every song I had made before it I had tried to make super complicated and they always ended up sounding plain awful. I am working on a 5-track EP and I'm definitely working on making everything sound as interesting as possible, whether its simplistic or technical.pandy wrote:It's not my style of dubstep, nor my kind of vocal, but it's pretty well produced.

And honestly, about the outro... I couldn't figure out how to end it so i just did that as a spur of the moment thing
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it.
