Very experimental track. Feedback please.

Post by Floop » Tue Jul 19, 2011 6:58 pm

Soundcloud Whipped this up in about an hour. Not my best, but I'm not going to improve unless I experiment a little.

Pretty damn good for an hours worth of work. I'd recommend adding in a good ghostly sounding synth melody. A little synth goes a long way. Maybe a bit of variation as the main bassline is a bit repetitive. But I really like where you are going with it. Good stuff.

I like it. Definitely not conventional dubstep, but it's creative and catchy. keep it up :D

Cool man, I messed around with FL awhile back. But I've got a mac now, so no FL for me lol. But I love Ableton.

I tried out Ableton. (I'm on a mac but I have a windows partition so I can run FL) When ever I tried to load a kick into a drum machine, it sounded really wierd.

Eh, might as well bump this one more time. Not sure how much good it will do, though.

This isn't experimental at all IMO, its straight standard. But its pretty god damn incredible for an hours work.

Put 40 hours into somethin and play out.

Well I kind of misused the word "experimental." What I meant by that is that I was just dicking around with massive and fl studio and came up with something different then what I usually do.
