You need to finish writing up all those descriptions of the artists OP.

Actually i can tell it is, most likely youre still at school and you and your mates all crowd around the computers listening to skrillex's newest 'banger'. Makes me want to lock myself in a dark room and listen to allstars 2 and pretend it was still 2005.
Yes, it does. I only got into dubstep this year. That's why I decided to come to this forum to find some new people to listen to. Yea, my knowledge of dubstep only comes from youtube. Where else would it come from (pandora, no.) (last.fm, same thing as youtube). I'm going to put skream higher on the list as it's a work in progress. Instead of mocking my taste in dubstep, it would be great if you guys could actually mention some artists...

Anything i suggested would either be boring, not filthy enough or have no wobbles in it. So i'll leave you to making screw faces and shouting filthyyyyy when a skrillex track gets played.

NEW TO DUBSTEP? A guide to start with is here.

And you won't have to step to far out of your comfort zone, because that thread consists of YouTube videos. ;-)

It took 5 mins out of my boring eve, if it isn't used or appreciated im not fussed.
But, if it does change an opinion, in a weird way it might make me happier... i doubt it will do any good.

Timberland invented this great genre for us all so he should be above skrillex in my opinion, but skrillex just has soo many good musics for me and my friends when we get dressed up in our skux gearz and party.

ok in all seriousness, here's a few tracks that could help the OP make the transition to the light (dark) side:

Keep the suggestions coming! I'm loving some of the artists I'm hearing. Jakes is fucking awesome. I know that I'm a noob when it comes to dubstep, but I just want to find some new music. Thanks for all the suggestions so far. I'm still working on the list obviously (I haven't really changed it all that much yet because I work 2 jobs and havent really had the time).

Without a doubt it has to be Bulletproof; this guy works so hard on his songs and yet stupid little kids keep listening to Skrillex and classify that as dubstep. Kids who have even been listening to tiesto and all this trancy crap followed with drake are now getting into the scene with Skrillex and Borgore; two of the biggest shit stains IMO.
