For some people that's probably one of the only social events they'll attened all year, no wonder they're already looking forward to it.

Don't see the attraction of work "freinds", unless they're people you have something else in common with.

People who yell at you and then tell you that you're the one being irrational

Also being stuck inside on glorious days, I miss being unemployed (not really but flexible working hours would be key)

it sucks man, actual results day for us Scots is tomorrow, but the SQA shambles (releasing them early to those who signed up to the text message) isn't making it any easier

Got my new external interface. Found out that the drivers haven't been updated in 3.5 years and the only way I could get it to output anything is to boot OSX in 32 bit.

I think it's quite unfair people find out their exam results at different times. IB peeps already have their results I think.

heard Skrillex on Radio 1 today, it wasn't a 'special play' thing either. Guessing he's on the playlist.

I knew her when she lived in and studied at Oxford but she lives in Germany now. She's basically a total hippy who managed to land herself a job working for Climate Care (jp morgans ventures into 'green' stuff, renewable energy, R&D, - very high up too). When I went out with her she was studying at Oxford, sponsored by her previous employer who was some freelance biodiesel outfit. In the time I've known her she's gone from working in a veggie cafe to making biodiesel, to study at one of the top ten universities in the world, to land a job with a massive bank and get paid huge amounts for doing so. It seems so very far from her hippy ideals and it makes me wonder, coupled with what you said, how hippy it actually is O_O

But shit on that. I am still insanely jealous.

edit to add: sorry for rambling there, just got thinking about her. She was one of the ones that you know are too good looking and clever for you and you're waiting for that inevitable words... "we need to talk" :D
