Great tune man! Very progress writing style and a nice mix of chill and intensity. My only critique would be to make the drop a little heavier and pronounced, other than that awesome work!

i agree, my monitors don't express bass too heavily so i never truly know if it's overpowered, underpowered, etc. till i play it on some big speakers. and i heard it was a little shy but it's too late for me to change it (partially cuz i'm too lazy and don't want to go through the process of doin a shitty job mastering again). i still think it hits pretty hard though :) maybe i'll add some subbass for a club master or something.

i appreciate the feedback!

I haven't been on this forum for like 2 months, so when I saw this as one of the first posts up there I was super excited to check it out. Most of the people on here never give me the time of day, but you always seemed to help me out on any post that I would write. Plus you make some sick music. If you were wondering, this is Escape [Dubstep].

Loving this track dude. I almost like the first drop-thats-not-really-a-drop more than the "actual" drop, it's more chill but it flows way more with the song and it would be so fucking sick if you just beefed up the bass a bit. Glad to see your progressing and improving your music as always... sick song.

Hey My names Driving Trance.
I'd love feedback, I'm not posting for views, just for feedback. I'm trying to move forward with my music and learn new things to make my music better :)

maybe you would get more feedback if you either:
A. Made this an actual post, instead of invading someone elses post.
B. Gave feedback on other peoples posts, such as this one.

haha i can't thank you enough sam. i like to have a lot of up and down sections in my songs with all different kinds of drops so the first drop really is a drop but it's a different kind of drop than the whole creative buildup with things rising and maybe a pause and someone says something or w/e drop. i wanted a really dirty drop for this one though you can ask nicky disko i was sending him wip's and i originally had a really chilled melodic drop.. but i was like eh i do too many of those i want something that's gonna make people shit themselves at a club.

i'm better at the melodic stuff though =/ it's fuckin impossible getting synths to sound the way i want..

thanks again for the feedback and advice :D

Dude, thats totally how I am too. I can always make the melodic parts sound awesome, but when it gets to making really dirty, nasty grimey wobbles it's just super tough for me. I know you're a massive user, and so am I, but two things I would suggest are:
1. My friend Skye taught me that making three really dirty massive patches, and then resampling ALL THREE into one audio sample, and then throwing that sample into Simpler for an LFO instead of using one Massive patch and automating w/ massive can make some insaneeeeeee sounds. I would definitely try that out.
2.In an interview I watched skrillex said all of his signature sounds come from FM8... it's a crazy program and I'm gunna invest some serious time into it and I suggest you do the same. I actually think that Adventure Club use FM8 for their signature nasty bass in their more recent songs, namely Crave You.

Keep up the good shit dude!

hmm not bad ideas. i use fm8 but i don't know how to use it lmao yea i'll definitely get on that. put a couple weeks into research and learning (it seems mad complicated but then again massive seemed complicated now it's much more cake). resampling into simpler? that's what i used to do before i had massive! for some reason i feel like the wobbles don't come out as filthy but i'll give it a shot, no hurt in trying. i'm assuming you meant automating w/simpler? (much easier than w/ massive). crave you is fillllthh (coincidentally, i actually matched the eq of sawed off to that song when mastering. weird)

thanks for the ideas homie i'll try these out for sure!

Well I'd need an mp3 or wav. File without the drum parts in it. And ofcorse I'll post it! I'm gonna record a video of me playing it to prove I did it all in one take. If u wanna do it my email is zakhopper316@gmail.com
