Tune ID........... please.
Tune ID........... please.
Hi, this is a seriously depressing set of affairs but here we go...
I've got an incredibly cheesy tune in my head, trying to work out what it is. Here are some (very) vague clues.
It's got a cheesy trance-like set of female vocals in it that kick in properly towards the end (sounds like they're from some Ministry of Sound dance nonsense from the 90s/early 00s).
Mainly breaks as the drumbeat with a bit of piano, so probably not technically dubstep, but it's the same tempo
Pretty new
Was on a jukebox in the pub so must be pretty mainstream
HAAA, all dignity has been lost, but seriously - any ideas?

No wobble on the bassline or anything either, it's rolling.

Re: Tune ID........... please.
You remember ANY of the words from the female vocal?
Re: Tune ID........... please.
No not really, I didn't want to mislead anyone by guessing...
If I had to guess it was like
<something, something> me in the morning
Gah, the vocal hook is what's driving me mad, cos I got the melody in my head but the lyrics ain't there.

Re: Tune ID........... please.
This may sound really stupid..
But have you thought about it being off the Magnetic Man album?

Much Love.
Re: Tune ID........... please.
Katy B
Modestep
Magnetic Man
16 Bit
Nero
[I'm sure others can add more commercial names to this list]
Have a hunt on YouTube for music by those acts and you're bound to find it, or you happen to frequent a pub with the most underground selections ever on it's jukebox.

Have all dabbled with female vocals. Any of these names ringing a bell?
EDIT: Wait, no wobble? Hm, might be Nero or Magnetic Man after all.
Just read your description again, it can't be any of these guys
Yeah, fuck this. Hum the melody, send it to us, and we'll find it
Re: Tune ID........... please.
Oh no.
For the record it was Katy B & Magnetic Man - Perfect Stranger, but possibly a remix, didn't Benga do one? I'm proper not up to date on these things.
She has definitely jacked that hook from somewhere aswell.
Cheers guys, appreciate you digging through your commercial knowledge.
