I've read about people using these a couple of times and I am wondering what you would use it for?
The only thing that comes to mind is letting the sound run through it to make it more gritty.
and I use Ableton, HD25 SPII and an NI Audio 6 interface.

Hi speed dubbing from one deck to another. Repeat a few times. Record back into Audacity.
Re: What do you use?
for doing the dubsteps:
Reason 5
Yamaha HS-50's
yamaha sw-10 sub
weed
macbook's own microphone.
mastering and work business:
presonus firepod
iMac 21,5"
genelec 1031A
digital performer 6
a buuuuunch of good waves, stillwell and other plug-in stuff.
Even though I own a studio, I still produce dubstep in my living room. Better chilling environment

Other/Both:
PAiA TubeSingle Limiter (First build from kit)
