Was gonna buy that for 360, but the Gamestop employee told me it was one of the worst games in the store. Soooo, I bought Bulletstorm and it SUCKED. Returned it and haven't looked back sinceSK3W3R wrote:i bought brink....its fucking incredible

i can see why people would be pissed if they got it full price because there isnt that much content in the game only like 12 levels and sp is just mp with bots but it has a lot of cool things like inbetween multiplayer levels theres ittle videos to explain the story that goes through the levels.
alot of other cool things, like you do challenges to unlock weapons and attachments, xp gets you points to buy skills and unlocks clothing, lots of customization on weapons and clothes (4 attachments per gun, euston + front grip + drum mag + muzzle brake +red dot is incredible)
and gameplay wise its spot on, very fluid has a very oldschool unreal/ quake vibe slightly slower with bits of modern fps mixed in
freerunning works great ut the absolute shine is on the sliding move, its the most useful thing in a shooter ever for getting away from a fight and words cannot explain how satisfying it is to slide tackle someone while emptying an smg into them!
death systems pretty good, spawns working in waves that are usally 30 seconds, when you die you go into last stand but it takes quite a few bullets to kill you in this so people dont bother wasting their ammo ammo then you can choose to wait for a medic to come chuck you a syringe to revive yourself, you can choose either on the fly so your not tied down either if it looks like a medic isnt coming
buff system works reallly nice and quickly, all takes a second or two then the effects are instant
downsides:
if people dont work together on your team and the other team does the game turns into a meat grinder and gets pretty annoying
runs like shit for people that have ATI/ AMD cards cause the game runs in openGL
selecting objectives is awkward with the mouse because it works the same way you select weapons on bioshock 2 on xbox
thats about it really well worth picking up, will reignite your hope for gaming, feels very fresh fun and addictive, what it lacks in content it makes up for in quality, ALL the levels / weapons are alll very varied and well balanced

Speaking of Brink, I'm going to Gamescon in Cologne to play in the ESL finals against Epsilon for 7500 euros. Go me.
