Not just me talking about it though was it? No point in making threats hiding behind a computer is there? Just makes you sound stupid, youre probably about 15 years old anyway.
now now, you both said sorry for derailing, charleswpeck should know that and weve all been pretty good so far... anyway, back to the point.

whats is cameron /actually/ going to do, apart from say, this is senseless violence, which we all already know...
Was just some youth on the news chatting to boris johnson saying something along the lines of: ''We do dis ting blud becuz we has to eat innit''
Im sure theres other solutions than looting your local shop and destroying someones liveliehood.

problem is they cant have 16000 police on the streets every night. can see tonight being quiet, then kicking off in a couple of days when police are back to normal levels

With regards to what to do, I've gotta agree with Legend4ry, people want this shit to stop now. I'd suggest one night when most of the riot police are relatively fresh where there's just pure lockdown, rush mother fuckers with the shields, batons to the legs, just get them the fuck out of there and deter them from ever going back. Just one night of overwhelming show of power if it's possible. Can only see there having to be more drastic use of force later down the line otherwise.

'don't vote, it just encourages the bastards'.

they all make out that its the most important thing to do as a citizen, but i really think it just gives them more legitamacy.

i had never voted before, but did last general election- foolishly for lib dems, they get in and completely go back on all of their pledges. what was the point in voting, what sort of democracy is that?!

makes no difference who gets in, they all do exactly as they please and aren't accountable for their promises and pledges

I completely agree. Now they've upped the numbers of riot police, surely now is the chance to unleash a short sharp burst of power tonight.

Let them tear down the city, then teach them how to swing a hammer.

i have never voted and dont see why anyone does, the government is just another corrupt factor in a system that doesn't work or do any good for anyone (apart from the already rich), i personally think the rioters should stop all the pointless shit and go directly to the houses of parliament

Oh come on now mate I obviously wasn't threatening you. But yes, I am sorry for naming you individually. I just think of all times, especially in a communal setting such as this, and in a form devoted to a very serious matter, we shouldn't be arguing over such trivial things as fucking gun specs.

And no, I'm not 16.

EDIT: Nor am I 15, either.

I don't think the boost in police levels will help. There are more potential rioters than police in London. They can easily increase numbers.

You guys saying the government doesn't do much for anyone. The rich folk seem chilled as fuck. Governments don't run countries, they run businesses. They're lawyers and economists, looking to take as much while giving as little as they can.

Nah doesnt matter mate, easy to get side tracked isnt it! Lets just hope things dont get worse otherwise what choices will the police etc have other than stepping up the level of force.

I'm getting sick of how many people who live in small towns and cities down here in Devon are just going on about what should be done on facebook despite the fact they aren't being effected by it at all or seem to have any clue what is going on or what would happen if their suggestions really were took on board.
