Everyone having guns in the US is like everyone having nuclear weapons being a deterrent to war....guess it sort of works, but stuff would turn really shit if it properly kicked off.

1 person shot by police and 1 person shot in rioting here in the UK so far, can guarantee if it was the US then shopkeepers and home owners would all be about with guns, and the rioters, and police....far more deaths. But then again, perhaps that makes it less likely to happen?

As bad as it has got here in the UK for the last week, at least on the whole people aren't really deliberately trying to kill each other- there is a certain respect/guilt/fear of it.....like football hooligans!

In Florida, whenever a major hurricane would approach everyone turned into a fucking lunatic. I once saw some thirty year old guy beating up on an old man for brushing up against him at the gas station. And the grocery stores aha. Everyone's cutting each other off, stealing trolley's, arguing/yelling etc. Maybe once the dollar collapses Americans are gonna start going rabid, but all you really have to do is turn off all electricity for about 2 weeks. See what civilized people do then.

Georgia for example....you are legally allowed to arm your household. If someone breaks into your house in atlanta, or kicks down your door, you can shoot them dead, and its not murder, its self defense.

They are. In fact, the government only clarified the law last month. Of course, handguns are illegal, but sinking a kitchen knife into a burgular's chest is now a valid option for homeowners and business-owners and was at the time of this riot.
