personally i don't really care anymore if people do it as there is no end in sight
it's people expecting the technical support for a product they didn't pay for that irks the hell out of me
that and it's fairly obvious to people who bought the software when people are asking about an outdated version or an error that only appears in cracked versions, or something covered in the manual that wasn't included in said cracked version
why not ask all the questions on the site you downloaded it from in the first place?
exactly mmate. like if you steal a car will you go to the dmv and try to register it?

Poor analogy - the fact the software is unregistered is the issue.

More apt would be - if you steal a Porsche, would you join a Porsche forum and ask "Yo, how do I drive this bitch?" ;)

i guess. mine is better mate, just think about it. it's completely relevant and similar in a way of piracy. if stealing cars counts as piracy.

edit: piracy - A similar practice in other contexts, esp. hijacking.
yes mine is better!!! it was a fair analogy mate don't know why you disagree with it being good.

This. Pisses me off when people ask how to fix their cracked Massive when I actually paid the money for it and they didn't.

As far as Ableton being $500, NI Komplete being $1000+ and Massive being $199.

so.... you bought komplete and massive seperately? :4:

OP is an idiot hahahaaaaaaaaa great topic. Which actually in the end made for a good discussion.

I personally believe if it weren't for pirates the companies would hardly make any money. Software developers should look at pirates as unconverted, potential sales and should look at the reasons WHY people pirate rather than totally condemning and punishing them. IMO it will lose them more sales in the long run. I wouldn't have bought half the software I now have if I hadn't of pirated it in the first place. And i'm now a loyal customer.

Just my 2 penneth

My family doesnt have the money to buy ableton, massive, midi controllers, studio moniters, and all this other stuff but i still want to produce so i would appreciate it if this site would stop acting like we murdered someone just because we downloaded cracked software.

Thats the struggle of life. Who isn't in the same boat? If you want to try it then try it. Find out how it is for yourself if your gonna steal it. Don't publicly broadcast that your just going to steal it and try to start a discussion.

If you can't handle the heat, get the fuck out the kitchen. :Q:
This. I basically hate anything with that "brutal electro" sound; it sounds all like HUGLAGHALGHALGHAL

I do agree with alot of the peeps in this thread though, cracking the software and then coming on here proudly announcing it and asking for help because it isn't working... that is just STUPID

Think this thread has had its run; I mean most people have said their piece and it'll turn into a 92324402 page of everyone saying the same sheeit; going to add it to the bible for further reading and lock it tomorrow.

Why not add a section for this in the Production Bible, so when new comers start out they know that they should buy the software so that they don't have to post something like this? ;)

I like the idea of group buys, cracking and then announcing is just lame cmon man. Keep it legit..
Trying my hand at producing. Curious to see where it goes.

Not sure if I'm using the right dubstep software but the fact is that I'm taking action and enjoying every step of the way.
