I still prefer the dubbier older sounding dubstep, allstars 2 is the perfect mix in my opinion. Whats that film called again about the youths in brixton trying to run a dance and build a sound sytem? its sampled in fat larry's skank.

One of my all time favorite tunes, I still own the vinyl. Would love to know what film that sample is from as well.

No its Tempa 24 I think, original on the A side with the Kode 9 remix on the flip.

i'm really into dub, reggae, dancehall, ska. every year i'm going to reggae geel in belgium good vibes there.
It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.

Saw Shaka for the first time at Outlook this year. I was fucking exhausted, and only caught him from about 2.30 till 6 (so only 3 1/2 of his 6 hour set). But I totally got that magic feeling.

I have to see him again, for the full time and on the proper soundsystem (though Mungo's at Outlook is by no means a bad substitute for the time).

I'll upload a few of the short(ish) videos I took from that night.

Here are my reggae related photos for now. They aren't too good and my camera was clearly not on the right setting, but... They're a nice memory.
