It has been bored out of its CPU skull... as it has only been uploading my entire back catalog (in triplicate) all day.

I am letting it have some fun now... I just did some drones with my Monotron that I recorded to cassette that I have recorded onto my HD, drenched in reverb, and will now i'm gonna multisample the hell out of it

My computer helped me get started on a kickass deep, upbeat roller and helped search for signs of alien life in the universe.

Worked fine, for the most part. Ableton decides to randomly not recognize Massive as a compatible plugin, but restarting live fixes it so no big deal really.

It decided that hitting the panic button won't stop feedback loops that get out of hand, a handful of limiters I had decided to quit working unless the signal exceeds 0db no matter where I put the threshold, and randomly inserting a parametric eq after any compressor causes all programs to simultaneously crash.
Other than that, my computer's been fine. Today, I wouldn't know, since I haven't been on it for a while. Unstable housing dictates how often I get to work on music, though I did just score myself a job.
Reverse guitar solo

I changed the preset on a vst and the sound basically just distorted and started playing deep dark, almost human groans.
Like the devil was in my machine.
I exported it immediately and multisampled that sucker.
I still have no idea where the sound came from.

demented voices, FUCK YEAH.
I love beautiful accidents like that. I was driving my work truck a few months back and decided to record some radio static on my phone for the hell of it... the radio starting cutting in and out between a choir song and a reggae song that were in the same key. its going in a new song im working on. i also used it as a groove template for some midi patterns. FUCK YEAH. ill post a sample too if you guys want. we should start a new thread for this.

by the way, whoever was saying this stuff only happens on pc's... i have a mac. i think most of my problem is mismatched RAM... i should have returned it when i had the chance.

I have a weird random issue atm where my patch files won't save properly when I save a song. Like I'll make a massive preset and save the logic file and when I reload it all the automations gone but the waves etc are saved, or Dune comes up blank. Or Vember Surge just pops instead of playing. I think it may be Logic though as saving the patches individually works fine but its looooong :(

Today my computer WASN'T a brushed aluminium twat box with fruit on it! and it worked perfectly well.. especially my professional audio editor [Soundforge] which isn't made for MAC and probably never will be... bless you Sony :)

Got stupid when I loaded up a project with shitloads of orchestral tracks, but did it anyway because it knows better than to piss me off. :)
