How so? You can't deny the mans talent.
Talent? I have witnessed the gas lamp killer 3 times on the decks and have left 3 times. How is wheeling tunes every 30 seconds and dropping another bait dub police / 16 bit tune talent? Then when he does get onto better tunes people keep telling me he does some hip hop cutting as well? It is out of time and ruins all the music, his DJ sets are bad and seem to be covered up by his so called 'HYPE' why carnt he learn to DJ and have Hype like other DJs? He is beyond crap on the mic, just shouting O MY GOD and jumping round like a buffoon it is hardly an amazing musical spectacle or something that I can see hasn't been done before and better, I just think why is he there? Fair play if you support him, but after 3 times seeing him I still don't get any of the hype.

His sets were way better before he played dubstep.

I went to see both his london gigs and he was heavy although I would much rather have seen him play the kind of stuff he produces and the stuff from the states which we are less familiar with.

In terms of his MCing I much prefer him taking the volume out and just saying a couple of things to every other MC who just chats over tunes and pretty much ruins them

Guy us fucking amazing. but really should play less dubstep as he can go a little off with that sometimes which is a shame as

everything else he plays is fucking amazing, I mean really

If you aint feeling the track selection here you got no taste.

I like the guy. He is nice enough, but when he plays here in LA (Dubtroit, Low End Theory) it is annoying. That aside, he always plays new "underground" shit. In my opinion he is more of a promoter than a DJ, at least here in LA. I've never seen one of his more commercial gigs.

PS I saw him at a James Blake gig here, so he's a homey either way
