Now my sound isn't as complex as his but I have the basic idea down. He also adds a bit more delay during the sustain portion and a bit of wet reverb during the sustain portion as well. Although he could be using a completely sepearate synth for the sustain portions. any ways, if you have any other questions about it, just ask. Hope this helps.
is there anyone that can give me any tips on how to make a bass like the few in this tune, for example the blop wob cant explain it anyother way really youll know which one if youve heard the track before.
can someone help me with the main wobble int his please, downlink also uses it in a few other songs. its that really airy/metallic wobble that comes in at 0:29

Perfect! Haha, thanks a lot, mate. Appreciate it
Knew I was wrong. Just made a synth with envelope on the pitch definitely not the same

Search datsik/ excision bass (don't mean to sound like a dick, but this is literally the best advice I can give). they don't sound the same but it sounds to me like theres a few different basses being used, all resampled reeses. I've made lots of reeses in massive, but I can't seem to get anywhere near this sound. But yeah try searching excision bass, because I know there's a bunch of info on general tips on how to get that similar reese. Also, search the grid on dogs on acid, Cuz these sounds are basically neurofunk reeses, and there's countless tutorials and tips on how to make nice reeses on DOA.
Is it just a sample? and if so anyone know what it would be called/where I can find it? If not, how is this sound achieved
It sounds like you're talking about the 8-bit sounds? that's just either square waves or a nice solid pulse wave thrown into an arpeggiator so it octaves up and down pretty quickly. Then slap on some reverb and other light effects to taste.

@Bussels, here you go
Try adding different effects, could get interesting I think
It's for massive, hope u have it
aka blinkesko Soundcloud Jesus Loves Electro - Burning Love (Augment remix)
The one that comes in around 0:36 until the drop I know it sounds like a square, but how would I go about getting that real nice arp? Any help would be greatly appreciated
EDIT:btw I realise posting C&S on DSF is a death wish, but I'm no real fan of theirs either (after the first album), and you can't deny these guys really know how to produce
bit of a different question to most of the ones in here, but has anyone got any tips on Blawan's bass sound in getting me down.
Forgive me if I'm wrong but it doesn't sound as complicated as you say. I'd think you could get a similar sounding growl out of massive using a bandpass and say, a -12 saw and -7 wicked, modulation the cutoff and wavetable on wicked. Then add distortion of your choice, (lots of drive and some bitcrush should do it). Then I'd lowpass the whole thing and experiment with different filters and gliding notes. I admit though I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to synthesis, so I could be going completely the wrong way about it

I kinda like that track.
these chords are used for the arp:
A-C-E, Amin
F-A-C, Fmin
G-B-D, Gmin
1/32 speed arp, 3 octaves. Something like that
EDIT: Actually it is probably 1/32T or 1/64D. And I think also to add a bass note to the chords (A-A-C-E) with a simple up pattern.

I'm looking to recreate this DnB synth and incorporate it into some of my dubstep tracks. I'm sure it has been used in loads of drum n bass tunes, but off the top of my head these are the only 2 I can think of. It appears in most of "innocent x" by Lomax, and at the end of some 8 bar loops in "talk to frank" by Commix.
It sounds to me like a Reece of some sort, but it waivers in a certain way and I can't quite seem to recreate it. Also I'm using Reason, so I'd need to know how to make it on Subtraktor or Malstrom (preferably not Thor) Its pretty nasty and I'd love to know how to emulate it.
